Chemistry Letters will change styles from 2006

1. Reference
The CSJ would like to announce the renewal of the reference style of our journals. We hope that the new style helps simplify submission to our journals. Authors are requested to follow this new style from Oct. 1st. Thank you for your understanding and for submitting your manuscripts to our journals.

<Point>
  • Omit “and” in the authors reference.
  • Change the order and style of Title, Year, Volume, and Page.

    Old  : Journal Title, Vol, Page (Year).
    New : Journal Title Year, Vol, Page.

<Example>
    Old  : Y. Kobashi and T. Mukaiyama, Bull. Chem. Soc. Jpn., 78, 910 (2005).
    New : Y. Kobashi, T. Mukaiyama, Bull. Chem. Soc. Jpn. 2005, 78, 910.

2. E-mail Address
Chemistry Letters would like to announce the notation for the e-mail address of corresponding authors. It comes after the manuscript number and is separated by “ ; ” (see below). Authors are requested to follow this new style from Nov. 1st. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

• The e-mail address of the corresponding author should not be a free-mail address (e.g., Hotmail, Yahoo Mail, etc.).

Yoshinori Sato, Hidehiko Fujisawa, and Teruaki Mukaiyama*
  Center for Basic Research, The Kitasato Institute (TCI), 6-15-5 Toshima, Kita-ku, Tokyo 114-0003

3. Affiliation
