This document indicates references to assist authors in creating PDF files from their manuscripts.

Adobe Distiller Job Options
For Windows users (version 4.0 or later), right-click the folling link and save this file to \Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat\Distllr\Settings of your main disk drive.

For Macintosh users (version 4.0 or later), push this link for a while to pop up the menu and save this file to the folder: Adobe Acrobat: Distiller: Settings.

  • Visit the Adobe website to obtain Adobe Acrobat software for generating PDF documents. (There is a fee for this software.)
  • Once you have created your PDF file, print it out on your local printer. Without checking thoroughly and carefully your created PDF file, your submission cannot be accepted.

NOTE: Although your PDF manuscript file will be used for peer review, your manuscript, if accepted, will be typeset from your native word processing file, not from the PDF manuscript file. The template does not provide a facsimile of a published manuscript, but facilitates the peer review process by providing authors with a means to place their artwork and tables close to the point where they are discusseed in the text.
