Directly Linked Corrole Oligomers via Facile Oxidative 3–3′ Coupling Reaction
Sho Hirabayashi, Masato Omote, Naoki Aratani,* and Atsuhiro Osuka* [Full Text PDF(J-STAGE)] [Supporting Information] [Full Text HTML]
5,10,15-Tris(pentafluorophenyl)corrole underwent regioselective oxidative coupling reaction at 3,3′-position to give dimer and trimer. Similar reaction of the dimer gave tetramer and hexamer. The structures of the trimer and tetramer cobalt(III) complexes have been unambiguously determined by X-ray diffraction analysis.
