Dr. Marinda Li Wu, the immediate Past President of American Chemical Society (ACS), attended the 94th Annual Meeting of the Chemical Society of Japan held at Nagoya University on March 27 - 30, 2014. Dr. Wu is the first Chinese-American and also the first Asian-American President of ACS. On this occasion, the Chemical Society of Japan organized a social meeting for Dr. Wu with Chinese chemists working in Japan. More than 30 Chinese chemists joined the meeting, and had a pleasant time to talk with her. Prof. Zhaomin Hou (RIKEN) and Prof. Jinhua Ye(NIMS: National Institute for Materials Science) had made a great contributions to have an opportunity of this fabulous event.
